Key Responsibilities
- Lead the complete technical execution of data projects, from design to deployment, using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, and Python.
- Design and develop robust ETL processes to handle large and complex datasets efficiently.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into reliable technical solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows to ensure data quality and system performance.
- Implement strong data security, governance, and compliance practices across all projects.
- Guide, mentor, and support junior engineers to foster skill development and team growth.
- Keep up with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering to drive continuous improvement.
Skills and Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Databricks for data integration and processing.
- Expertise in writing advanced SQL queries for data manipulation and analytics.
- Strong background in Oracle PL/SQL for database development and management.
- Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and data-related tasks.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT design, and data modeling.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting, managing multiple priorities without compromising quality.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Certifications
Relevant certifications in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, SQL, Oracle, or Python will be an advantage.
