About the Role
As a Frontend Engineer on our Core team, you won’t just be writing code; you’ll be a key architect of the user experience for our growing platform. This is a chance to dive into a modern tech stack—Next.js, React, TypeScript, GraphQL, and AWS—while also pioneering how Machine Learning and AI features are integrated into a seamless, intuitive frontend.
What You'll Do
- Architect & Build: Take the lead on designing and developing scalable, high-performance frontend systems using Next.js and TypeScript.
- Craft Experiences: Build elegant, intuitive, and responsive user interfaces that our users love.
- Build for Scale: Create reusable component libraries and design systems that empower our entire product team to move faster and maintain consistency.
- Optimize & Refine: Ensure our web applications are fast, accessible, and work flawlessly across all browsers.
- Innovate with AI: Integrate cutting-edge, AI-driven features and dynamic data flows directly into the user experience.
- Collaborate: Work within our cloud-native stack (AWS, CI/CD) alongside backend and infrastructure engineers to bring features to life.
- Own the UX: Take ownership of the user journey, applying UI/UX best practices and proactively proposing design improvements, even when starting from a rough concept.
- Be a Team Player: Actively participate in our agile rituals—sprint planning, stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives—to help us continuously improve.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 6+ years of professional software development experience, with a deep focus on frontend technologies.
- Proven expertise building complex web applications with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- A solid grasp of responsive design principles and a keen eye for the details that make a great user experience.
- Experience integrating frontend applications with backend services, preferably using GraphQL.
- A self-starter who can take ownership of projects and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
