We're seeking an engineer who is passionate about building powerful, seamless, and secure web extensions to join our dedicated team. You'll be instrumental in developing a critical piece of our technology, working alongside teams that build our endpoint agent and cloud platform to create a unified defense.

Responsibilities 

  • Develop and maintain a high-performance, secure browser extension for Chrome, Edge, and other major browsers, leveraging Manifest V3 and modern web standards.
  • Build features that safely monitor and interact with web page content, adhering to strict security protocols to handle sensitive data.
  • Continuously optimize for speed, stability, and a minimal footprint, ensuring a smooth user experience across countless websites and workflows.
  • Collaborate directly with engineers on our endpoint and backend teams to create tight, reliable integrations that work consistently across a user's entire environment.
  • Keep pace with the rapidly changing landscape of browser capabilities, extension APIs, and security models to future-proof our technology.
  • Contribute to our engineering culture through thoughtful code reviews, robust testing, and helping refine our development lifecycle.

Skills and Experience 

  • You have 5 or more years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 of those years spent specifically building and shipping browser extensions.
  • You are highly proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, and are comfortable with modern web development tooling and practices.
  • You possess a deep, practical knowledge of browser extension architectures (especially Chrome Extensions/Manifest V3), their capabilities, and the security considerations involved in content scripting and messaging.
  • You write code with security front of mind, particularly when dealing with untrusted inputs and sensitive data.
  • You’re a clear communicator who enjoys solving problems across teams, including with product managers and designers

Nice to Have 

  • Experience in the security industry, with SaaS platforms, or endpoint/agent technologies.
  • Familiarity with Go, which powers parts of our backend.
  • A track record of working effectively in cross-functional environments.
