Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on testing of 2G, 3G, 4G (LTE), and 5G protocol stacks and features.
- Work on interoperability testing, ensuring our modems work seamlessly with network equipment from giants like Ericsson and Nokia.
- Understand complex network call flows, develop detailed test plans, and execute test cases.
- Identify, document, and help debug software issues. You'll collect logs using specialized tools to get to the root cause of problems.
- Actively contribute to automation efforts using scripting to make our testing more efficient.
- Deliver high-quality work on time, following team processes and checklists.
- Continuously learn and grow your skills through training and self-study in evolving telecom technologies.
Experience & Skills
- Education: A degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech) or MCA.
- Experience: 0 to 2 years of relevant experience. Fresh graduates with the right skills and attitude are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Strong understanding of 3GPP standards and protocols for any of the technologies: 2G, 3G, 4G, or 5G.
- Good programming fundamentals in C, C++, or Python.
- A solid grasp of software testing concepts (test case design, bug lifecycle, etc.).
- An analytical mind and a strong desire to learn and troubleshoot.
- Familiarity with telecom testing tools like QXDM, QCAT, QPST, or Anritsu/Keysight instruments.
- Knowledge of automation or scripting using Python, Perl, TCL, Shell Scripting, or TTCN.
- Experience working in a Linux environment.
- Understanding of RLC/MAC/NAS layers or interoperability testing.
