As a Cloud Monitoring Engineer, you will join Flexera’s Network Operations Center (NOC) and play a key role in ensuring the availability, stability, and performance of production and customer-facing systems.
This is a proactive monitoring role, focused on identifying potential issues early and preventing service disruptions before they impact customers. You will work closely with DevOps, SRE, and Product teams in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Proactively monitor staging and production environments
- Use monitoring tools such as Kibana, Grafana, and native AWS, GCP, and Azure monitoring services
- Support modern cloud technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, and RDS
- Perform 24/7 monitoring with occasional night, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Identify, log, and respond to incidents
- Diagnose application, network, and system-level issues
- Communicate system changes, upgrades, and improvements clearly
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve alert accuracy and reduce incident response time
- Monitor both internal systems and customer environments
Required Qualifications
- 0–3 years of technical experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related fields (preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of SQL (academic or practical)
- Willingness to learn new cloud technologies and tools
- Good understanding of cloud computing concepts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Previous experience in cloud, SaaS, or customer-facing technical roles is a plus but not mandatory.
