About the Role
This role is part of Morningstar’s Data and Operations group. Analysts will work with a variety of financial datasets, including public equity filings, private market transactions, ESG data, and fund information. The position is designed to provide practical experience and growth in investment management fundamentals while honing key technical skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Collect, verify, and analyze diverse financial datasets.
- Address internal and client queries related to data methodologies.
- Learn and adhere to established research methods and quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional groups to resolve data issues.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and special projects.
Candidate Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Finance) with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel.
- Working knowledge of SQL and Power BI is beneficial.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- A detail-oriented, proactive, and curious mindset.
- Ability to manage tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
- The role is open to fresh graduates and those with up to one year of experience.
Work Location & Schedule
The position is permanently based in Vashi, Navi Mumbai, with a preference for local candidates.
The role involves working rotational shifts, which may include early morning, general, afternoon, or night shifts to support global teams. Shift allowances are provided.
Hiring Process
