About the Role
The Software Test Engineer II will work closely with developers and business analysts to ensure high-quality and reliable enterprise software. The candidate will be responsible for designing, automating, and executing test plans while contributing to code reviews and quality improvements across projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Review technical and business requirements for clarity and test feasibility.
- Develop and maintain automated and manual tests for enterprise applications.
- Conduct various testing types, including functional, integration, performance, and usability tests.
- Collaborate with developers to identify, document, and resolve software defects.
- Track testing progress using lifecycle management tools.
- Monitor post-release quality and support quick issue resolution.
- Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium and Playwright.
- Strong programming background in ASP.NET, C#, and TypeScript.
- Working knowledge of enterprise IT environments, including networking, virtualization (VMware vSphere), and load balancing.
- Familiarity with SQL for testing scenarios and data validation.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork abilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience managing software testing for enterprise systems.
- 5 or more years of development or test automation experience.
- A solid commitment to software quality and defect prevention.
