Mrald, powered by Mphasis, is looking for experienced professionals to join its back-office insurance operations team.
As a Broking Account Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end back-office services for insurance broking accounts.
This is a client-facing, process-driven role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for excellence in insurance operations.

Key Responsibilities :
- Handle credit control processes for insurance accounts
- Perform cash and payment reconciliation, ensuring accurate system allocation
- Reconcile client and insurer statements to maintain clean ledgers
- Manage premium and return premium collections, including issuing reminders to brokers, account executives, insureds, and insurers
- Address and resolve queries related to unmatched cash, uncollected debt, and payment issues
- Execute payments to clients, brokers, insurers, and third parties, ensuring compliance with approval protocols
- Take ownership of funded balance collection, PPW, and PPC payment processes
- Maintain compliance with FCA client money rules
- Support training and mentoring of Trainee Technicians
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to identify process improvements
- Participate in project initiatives and liaise with clients and external parties
Skills & Competencies :
- Strong domain knowledge in insurance operations, particularly in underwriting and specialty insurance
- Technical accuracy in reconciliation and credit control processes
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Mentoring and leadership skills to guide junior team members
- Problem-solving mindset and proactive in managing project deliverables
