Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain reliable automated test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Work closely with development and QA teams to plan test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Set up and manage automated test execution within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Leverage AI/ML-powered tools to enhance testing through self-healing scripts, test optimization, and smarter defect detection.
- Execute tests in Docker and Kubernetes environments and resolve any related configuration or deployment issues.
- Take part in code reviews, defect analysis meetings, and help in continuously improving our testing processes.
- Prepare and maintain test documentation, execution logs, and dashboards for clear reporting and insights.
Skills and Experience
- Strong, hands-on experience in automation using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Practical knowledge of DevOps tools and setting up tests in CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes for test environment management.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, web technologies, and cross-browser testing.
- Familiarity with how AI/ML concepts can be applied to software testing.
- Excellent analytical thinking and debugging abilities.
- A collaborative mindset and good communication skills.
