About the Role
Smartwork IT Services is hiring a Power Automate/Apps Consultant to join its growing team of automation experts. This remote position focuses on developing and implementing intelligent automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and SharePoint.
The consultant will not only build technical solutions but also collaborate with clients to streamline operations and enhance business performance through automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy automation workflows using Power Automate and related tools.
- Develop customized Power Apps to support client‑specific business processes.
- Integrate automation with AI‑based business tools and SharePoint systems.
- Conduct client meetings to collect requirements and recommend process improvements.
- Create detailed documentation, technical designs, and process flow diagrams.
- Deliver training sessions and provide technical support for clients.
- Contribute to the automation team’s growth by participating in innovation and scaling initiatives.
Skills and Expertise
- Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online/365 configuration and administration.
- Ability to create custom connectors and manage API integrations.
- Understanding of data management, governance, and cloud security principles.
- Strong analytical, presentation, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for client engagement.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Power Platform development and consulting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven record of delivering successful automation and digital transformation projects.
- Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Prior experience in consulting environments, especially with AI integration, is an advantage.
- Preferred certifications in Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, or Azure.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or similar process‑improvement methodologies.
