Role : Full Stack Developer (Remote)
Pay : $40 - $60 per hour
Job Type : 6 Months contract based
About Role
As a developer on the Axiom platform, you will design responsive user interfaces, create efficient back‑end services, and ensure smooth integration across systems. The role emphasizes scalability, security, and high performance—key factors in delivering software that runs reliably around the clock.
Key Responsibilities
- Build responsive front‑end interfaces using Vue.js and Tailwind CSS.
- Develop and optimize back‑end services with Laravel/PHP and Node.js or Golang.
- Design secure REST and GraphQL APIs to connect different services and data systems.
- Manage databases using MariaDB—handle schema design, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines with GitLab and handle deployments on Kubernetes.
- Write automated tests and maintain code quality through reviews and secure coding practices.
- Collaborate with product, UX, and architecture teams to plan and deliver new features.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues in production.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Laravel (PHP), Node.js, Vue.js, and Golang.
- Strong understanding of REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with MariaDB or other SQL databases.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools like GitLab.
- Knowledge of Kafka for data integration and message handling.
- Solid understanding of testing methods and performance optimization.
Preferred Experience
- Redis caching and API gateway management.
- Working with Kubernetes Helm charts or Terraform for infrastructure setup.
- Experience in telecom or large‑scale operational systems.
- Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus or Grafana.
Work Environment
- Fully remote, contract‑based position (6 months).
- Pays between $40 and $60 per hour on a W2 contract.
- Agile work culture with two‑week sprints, code reviews, and daily stand‑ups.
