As part of the RHE team, you’ll work at the core of Songtradr’s technology, building backend systems for music licensing, metadata management, and process automation.
Our team bridges the gap between content ingestion, delivery systems, and user-facing platforms—making this position crucial to the continuous improvement of our ecosystem.
This role involves designing and implementing backend microservices that manage rights
holder content and licensing workflows for both creators and enterprise clients.
You’ll oversee projects end-to-end, from initial concept through deployment and maintenance, driving performance, scalability, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend services that support content licensing for creators and enterprise users.
- Translate business processes into automated workflows and scalable APIs.
- Improve developer tools and experience through best practices and documentation.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to refine product requirements and technical solutions.
- Work across engineering teams to align with company-wide architecture and standards.
- Share knowledge and mentor others, supporting a culture of learning and innovation.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Expertise in Express.js or similar web frameworks.
- Strong SQL skills; PostgreSQL experience preferred.
- Proven background in microservices architecture and backend system design.
- Knowledge of workflow automation and orchestration tools.
- Familiarity with Ruby on Rails and GraphQL is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across diverse teams.
