As a Founding Engineer, you will play a central role in developing NYVO’s core product — including its mobile and web platforms as well as critical backend systems.
You’ll work closely with the company’s founders — seasoned professionals with over two decades of experience in large financial institutions and a successful fintech unicorn — to design, architect, and scale products capable of serving millions of users.
Your work will directly shape how NYVO’s customers experience financial management and will influence future hiring, development standards, and product design direction.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain NYVO’s digital ecosystem across mobile, web, and internal platforms.
- Design engaging, intuitive user interfaces that simplify complex financial workflows.
- Architect scalable backends that ensure high performance, security, and reliability.
- Integrate third-party APIs related to credit, mutual funds, insurance, and lending systems.
- Collaborate with founders to finalize the product roadmap, technical direction, and feature prioritization.
- Define and establish the engineering culture in a rapidly growing startup environment.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of full-stack development experience.
- Proficiency in mobile app frameworks such as React Native or Flutter.
- Strong web development skills with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Backend expertise in Node.js, Python, or Go, along with REST/GraphQL API design.
- Experience managing databases like PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Strong grasp of cloud infrastructure using AWS or GCP.
- Solid UI/UX understanding with hands-on skills in Figma or similar tools.
- (Bonus) Prior startup or founding-team experience, or active open-source contributions.
