About the Role
As part of the ongoing technology and infrastructure transformation within DWS, we are building a new IT technical team that will provide end-to-end infrastructure and middleware support for seven key applications used across our global Operations teams, with a focus on fund accounting.
This team will ensure seamless application support for business users across multiple regions including Europe, the US, and APAC. Given the diverse technology stack and mix of internally built and vendor-based applications, the role offers a broad exposure to dynamic systems and modern integration practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement system
- Design, script, and automate solutions to resolve production issues and meet new business requirements in both Windows and Linux environments.
- Manage scheduling tasks in Control-M and Active Batch, particularly for vendor solutions such as SimCorp Dimension.
- Handle system certificates and ensure security compliance.
- Maintain and deploy middleware components such as Java, Oracle Client, Apache, Tomcat, OpenSSH, Perl, and Shell scripts.
- Provide 24/7 production support for SFTP services globally.
- Build and manage dashboards for proactive interface and system monitoring.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong technical expertise in Windows administration and development.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming: VBA, SQL, C#, Perl, Java, PowerShell, and Python.
- Database experience
- Solid knowledge of integration tools and concepts: IBM MQ, Kafka, VPN, ExpressRoute, SFTP, REST APIs (JSON).
- Good understanding of authentication and authorization frameworks including SSO, 2FA, SAML, and OAuth2.
- Experience with scheduling and job automation (Control-M, Active Batch).
- Familiarity with Active Directory and domain migration projects.
- Hands-on knowledge of data transfer mechanisms such as MQ, SFTP, and database links.
- Experience with AIX to Linux migration is beneficial.
- Exposure to SDLC tools like Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket, GitHub, Artifactory, and ServiceNow.
- Background in the asset management sector is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English and Little german
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while coordinating with global teams.
