The Command Center team plays a crucial part in keeping Comscore’s products and IT infrastructure running 24/7.As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting both on-premises and cloud-based systems.
This includes servers, network devices, storage, and various data management processes.
The position requires strong technical expertise, quick problem-solving ability, and excellent communication skills for interacting with colleagues and clients worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
- Continuous monitoring of systems and infrastructure in data centers and cloud platforms (AWS and on-premise).
- Handling incident management for major company-wide issues.
- Providing L1 support for cloud and server-related concerns.
- Managing observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
- Performing patch management and basic server administration for Windows, Linux, and SQL servers.
- Troubleshooting technical issues and escalating them appropriately.
- Supporting data ingestion, processing, and delivery workflows.
- Managing users through LDAP and adhering to ITIL-based processes.
- Writing clear documentation and improving operational workflows.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Up to 2–4 years of infrastructure or product operations experience.
- Knowledge of Nagios, JIRA, CloudWatch, Athena, and AWS services.
- Hands-on experience with Linux/Windows servers and scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
- Familiarity with databases and query languages.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Understanding of ITIL processes like Incident and Problem Management.
- Relevant certifications will be an added advantage.
