As a Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting application software while adhering to Mastercard’s standards and practices.

- Conduct programming, unit testing, implementation, and maintenance of applications following established coding standards.

- Provide support for production systems, including participation in on-call rotations.
- Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and process enhancements to strengthen overall team efficiency.
- Collaborate with colleagues across locations in a matrix-style organizational setup.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- Thorough understanding of software engineering principles, methodologies, and development practices.
- Strong skills in programming languages such as Java, C++, Embedded C, JavaScript, and related technologies (HTML, CSS, jQuery).
- Familiarity with Linux, Microsoft Windows, unit testing, and debugging techniques.
- Ability to adapt quickly, take ownership of tasks, and thrive under pressure.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working in globally distributed teams.
