Key Responsibilities :
Testing & Validation :
- Develop and implement detailed test plans covering functional, performance, regression, and interoperability testing.
- Validate and troubleshoot network components across 4G EPC, 5G Core (NSA/SA), and IMS architectures, including:
- Utilize telecom testing tools like Spirent TestCenter, iperf, or equivalent to simulate network traffic, monitor performance, and verify KPIs.
- Ensure test cases align with 3GPP standards and meet client-specific requirements.
Test Automation :
- Create and maintain automated test scripts using Python, Robot Framework, or similar tools.
- Design scalable test frameworks to support continuous testing of Cloud-Native Functions (CNF) and Virtual Network Functions (VNF).
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD.
Essential Qualifications :
- Demonstrated experience in testing EPC, IMS, and/or 5G Core networks.
- In-depth knowledge of telecom signaling protocols and 3GPP procedures.
- Familiarity with key network components in 4G and 5G ecosystems.
- Proficiency in scripting and test automation, with a preference for Python.
- Strong skills in test strategy development, planning, and execution.
- Exceptional analytical, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with telecom testing tools such as Spirent TestCenter or iperf.
- Knowledge of cloud-native environments and deployment of CNFs/VNFs.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, or OpenStack is highly desirable.
