Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing
- Executing test cases for desktop,web and API-based applications.
- Carry out manual and automated testing to detect errors, performance issues, and usability challenges.
- Accurately document and report bugs with detailed reproduction steps and expected results.
- Participate in team activities such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with the development team to improve test coverage and QA processes.
- Maintain documentation of test results and prepare QA reports.
Requirements
- BE/Btech/ME/Mtech
- Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Familiarity with manual testing, bug reporting, and test case writing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail
- Good communication skills and an eagerness to learn in a collaborative environment.
- Certification in software testing is required.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to bug tracking tools
- Understanding of tools like Postman or Swagger for API testing.
- Basic knowledge of SQL or experience with database testing.
- Interest or prior exposure to test automation and scripting.
